Le St-Patrick is a private seniors' residence located in Upper Quebec City, two blocks from the Plains of Abraham. We are looking for a part-time daytime attendant position. Group insurance and benefits. Stable hours. Free indoor parking. ***Candidates must have a vocational diploma (DVS) in beneficiary attendance or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years as a PAB + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP.***


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: 8/14 daytime position with every other weekend.

Salary: Based on experience, starting at $19.50 per hour.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Comply with standards and regulations in accordance with the certification of private seniors' residences and employer policies
  • Provide a range of health and hygiene care while respecting the integrity and dignity of residents, in collaboration with the team
  • Respect and promote proactive care among residents
Health Care
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
  • PDSP Training
  • AP/RPA or DEP training in assistance to people in establishments and at home
