Thousands of Canadian and international students have progressed through Columbia College's programs to Canadian universities or successful careers.The Opportunity: Columbia College is looking for a Science Teacher to teach the following course in our High School program on campus. Physics 11, section (12) � Monday to Friday from 12:20 to 14:00.This part-time sessional position will commence in September 2024 and end in December 2024. Key Responsibilities:Instructors' primary responsibilities include planning, teaching, marking, and grading the appointed course/s. Ideal Candidates: Master of Science in Physics is preferred, and a Bachelor�s degree in Physics is required. A BC Public or Independent School Teaching Certificate in Physics. Online and face-to-face experience teaching high school Physics courses.Excellent expertise with Learning Management Systems (Knowledge and experience with Moodle is an asset). Demonstrated success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in teaching a diverse student body. Salary: We offer competitive compensation. The gross salary paid for an entire semester of a high school course is $10,655.03 for a BA holder . When the instructor holds a Bachelor�s degree in the subject matter and completed the PDP, the gross salary paid for a full course is $11,063.86.
