Description
We are looking for Teachers for the following subject to start immediately:
Physics
Duties include but are not limited to:
To construct and deliver the courses of which the Independent Contractor is teaching in a format consistent with Ministry of Education policies.
To provide students with 110 (one-hundred and ten) hours of online instruction in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education.
To provide the Client (Canada eSchool) with a new examination for courses the Contractor is teaching every six months.
To maintain a consistent and reliable network with all students enrolled in the course and to provide one hour of scheduled online office hours to students each week in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education requirements.
To respond to student queries within a 24 hr. period, Monday to Friday.
To provide students with feedback and evaluations within 5 business days of receipt of evaluation assignments.
To provide the client with a final evaluation of each student and mark (as per Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines) within 5 business days of the student having completed his/her final examination.
To keep all student information (Ontario Student Record, Student Transcript, Assignments) confidential in accordance with the requirements of the Education Act of the Province of Ontario.
To provide students with ongoing assessment and feedback (as per Ontario Ministry of Education).
To maintain and compose course lessons in compliance with the Ministry of Education in Ontario Curriculum guidelines and Canadian Copyright Law.
Qualifications/Requirements
Academic degree in subject area, Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
Current member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or pending proven completion.
Teaching experience in a high school setting is preferred.
