Position Overview:
At Compugen, we're on a mission to help organizations realize new possibilities with differentiated offers pulling solutions and services together to build a culture of innovation and foster sound financial strength. We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Marketing Specialist to support market research, service development and positioning, campaign execution and sales enablement for our IT service offerings.

This role plays a key part in driving awareness, engagement, and top of funnel lead generation for our cloud, modern work, network & security, and data & AI solutions across Canada’s enterprise, retail, and public sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT services, market trends, and customer needs, with the ability to translate insights into impactful marketing campaigns, service positioning, and sales enablement materials.

Key Responsibilities:
Service Positioning, Messaging & Development
  • Support service development by providing insights from market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments, ensuring offerings align with market demand.
  • Working with service, sales, and marketing teams, define and refine service positioning and messaging to clearly articulate consistent and compelling value propositions across enterprise, retail, and public sector markets.
  • Maintain and evolve positioning based on service lifecycle, market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
Campaign Execution & Coordination
  • Assist in the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to further top of funnel growth, ensuring alignment with service and sales goals. Monitor campaign engagement and provide feedback to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Work closely with the broader marketing team to coordinate campaign deliverables, timelines, and performance tracking.
  • Help develop content for marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns, sales collateral, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Support the planning and execution of webinars, events, and industry trade shows, ensuring maximum impact.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, lead generation metrics, and engagement levels, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Sales Enablement
  • Create and update sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, product briefs, and competitive battle cards.
  • Train and equip sales teams with clear, compelling service positioning to enhance customer conversations and drive deal conversions
  • Collaborate with vendor partners (E.g., Microsoft, HP) to align messaging and support co-marketing efforts.
Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to inform service development, positioning, and marketing strategy.
  • Analyze market data, competitive offerings and customer insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and service improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, service positioning, campaign execution, or market research (within IT services or technology preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing, IT solutions, and technology sales cycles.
  • Experience in developing, communicating and executing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to analyze market data and influence service development based on insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research and campaign data.
  • Experience creating marketing and sales materials (e.g., digital content, whitepapers, one-pagers, competitive briefs).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demands in a challenging environment.
Desired/Preferred Tools:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Teams + Outlook required
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Project Management: Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar tools.
