Summary:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a vital enterprise application for Compugen that supports all Sales, Service, and Financial transactions in our business. Under the guidance of the IT Director, the Senior JD Edwards (JDE) Functional Analyst plays a critical role in streamlining operational workflows. This role combines elements of solutions development and process improvement, leveraging both functional and technical skillsets. It provides the opportunity to work with various teams across the organization and is positioned to help shape IT roadmap and strategy.
In your role as Senior JDE Functional Analyst, you will lead the design, implementation, support, and enhancement of applications within the organization. Your main duties will include collecting and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring solutions, providing ongoing support and training to end users, and working with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and support business goals. You will have an in-house development and support team to assist you, as well as contracted consultants and developers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Collection: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements, leveraging JDE modules where applicable.
  • Solution Design and Configuration: Design and configure solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.
  • Customization and Enhancement: Develop and implement customizations and enhancements to applications as required, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the reliability and accuracy of solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to configurations, customizations, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and support activities.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end users on functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system usage.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate JDE modules with other enterprise systems ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with JDE software updates, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend and implement continuous improvements and optimizations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) as a JD Edwards Functional Analyst
  • Proficiency in JDE tools and technologies, including but not limited to JDE EnterpriseOne (9.x), Orchestrator, and modules such as Finance, Sales Order Management, Logistics, and CRM.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of JDE database, common tables, setup of UDC tables, application constants, processing options, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
