Position Overview: The Service parts Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are accurately counted, tracked and maintained in alignment with business needs. This role plays a key part in supporting parts ordering teams by ensuring the products are available at all the service stock location with 100% accuracy.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity at our Richmond Hill, ON. location. Applicants must be able to participate in rotation shifts between the hours of 8AM-8PM, Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages all area related to Service Parts Inventory which includes Cycle count, stock transfers & sort discrepancy.
  • Work with Branches and 3rd party to ensure timely count, training & provide necessary assistance.
  • Coordinate inventory movement between multiple groups within organization.
  • Manage and/or participate in projects from time to time as business needs change and evolve.
  • Ensure key performance indicators related to Service Parts Inventory are tracked, communicated, analyzed, and addressed as required.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers through communication.
  • Work on different projects from time to time, as assigned by Management
  • Work with cross function team to resolve process issues.
  • Staff is responsible to follow ISO procedures outlined in Compugen Quality Management System.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory control / Warehouse environment.
  • Data driven, Communication skills, Computer literacy and good analytical working knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to analyze, plan, organize and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Ability to work with tight timelines.
  • Ability to lift merchandise weighing 40-50 Ibs.
  • Forklift license preferred or willing to learn and drive Forklift (Raymond Reach Reverse Steering) & Cherry picker.
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards or any ERP system will be an asset
  • APICS certification will be an asset
  • High school diploma or GED
