FORKLIFT DRIVER

Our client, a leader in the design and manufacture of roof trusses, floor joists and prefabricated walls (mainly), is seeking full-time forklift drivers at its Saint-Brigitte d'Iberville facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Load and/or unload merchandise using forklift;
- Prepare orders for shipment according to purchase orders;
- Ensure quality control to avoid shipping damaged goods;
- Prepare material for shipment to various customers;
- Make recommendations to supervisor for improvement;
- Perform any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor;
- Work closely with production managers;
- Ensure that products are stored safely and in the right place;
- Operate forklift safely, applying health and safety standards;
- Respect health and safety rules in the workplace;
- Follow best practices in work area maintenance.
