Under the general supervision of the lithography supervisor, the general helper carries out various tasks involving the transport, unstacking and checking of cardboard and paper in the plant and warehouse. He/she is also responsible for feeding and clearing the presses of printed products on delivery.
*** The general laborer Litho ***
- Reads the production bag.
- Reads instructions on destacking sheet.
- Transports, destacks, checks and numbers stacks of paper and cardboard using a motorized forklift.
- Cleans, transports and routes different types of paper for recycling.
- Supplies corners and boards to presses.
- Performs certain tasks on the press, such as washing the presses.
- Clears press storage areas of printed products.
- Checks stacks as needed (offset, glued, etc.) and isolates defects.
- Clearly completes destacking report with correct quantities and instructions. Identifies quantities with defects.
