Constant International Inc. is looking for a chemical buyer to join our dynamic team. For more than 30 years, Constant International Inc. has been manufacturing, selling and distributing chemical products to several industries, including the food industry, pulp and paper, industrial fields, water treatment and transportation industries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical purchasing and international logistics;
• Professional experience in the chemical industry and knowledge of chemistry would be an asset;
• Negotiation and communication skills;
• Fluently bilingual in French and English;
• Organizational and delegation skills with attention to detail;
• Excellent knowledge of procurement and adherence to critical deadlines;
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks;
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word);
• Knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset;
• Resourceful;
• Computer knowledge an asset

Responsibilities:

• Secondary liaison with all suppliers (negotiations, orders, problems, etc.);
• Analysis of procurement costs for the company's projects;
• Management of incoming and outgoing traffic;
• Documentation import / export;
• Verify expense invoices;
• Any other project requested by his superiors.

Workplace:

• Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
