Constant is looking for a Production Plant Supervisor to join our dynamic team

The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall management of Constant's facilities, production improvements, production support, and special projects.

Responsibilities / duties:

  • Lead the effort on continuous improvement in production with the goal of increasing efficiency across the company. Assure the implementation of all change with the close collaboration of the Production Manager.
  • Lead all projects related to production automation improvements in conjunction with the equipment department (filling lines, automated flowmeters, etc)
  • Responsible for wastewater treatment
  • Leading the safety committee meetings, ensuring the process of continuous safety improvements and in charge of other government regulatory affairs (TDG, etc)
  • Training production team on safety & SIMDUT. Auditing production team for safety on a regular basis.
  • Lead Constant to conform with GMP and ISO standards and perform audits
  • Review all ideas and suggest ideas for new production equipment, obtain management approvals, help source equipment, launch, train and troubleshoot equipment once purchased
  • Manage toll & storage accounts (Aeromag, Earth Alive, Sel Plus, Novibio, etc)
  • Main contact person for the building and all emergencies
  • Liaison between production and sales teams
  • Overseeing min & max reports, back order reports and other production reports to ensure we always have the raw materials we need for our customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a production environment (an asset)
  • Experience in supervisory management - 5 years
  • Ability to work in a team, positive leadership
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills
  • Knowledge of software (Windows, Outlook)

  • Business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requested skills

  • University degree an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in personnel management and minimum of 3 years in human resources and purchasing
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French
  • Customer service approach is important
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to handle difficult situations
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is an asset
  • Must be willing to work from our LaSalle office
