Full-Time Position as Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking a candidate with over five (5) years of experience as a Programmer Analyst in the Manufacturing/Processing industry.

Field of Study Required: Undergraduate University Degree

Operating Territory: Capitale-Nationale, QC

Specific City(ies) / Sub-region(s): Quebec

Number of Hours per Week: 40 hours
Remote Work: In-person only

Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user needs and functional/non-functional specifications
  • Design, develop, and configure applications, primarily ERP, using technologies such as AS400 RPG, .NET, C#, and Delphi
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and deployment strategies for application solutions
  • Maintain existing systems and make modifications based on operational needs
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously improve processes and tools
  • Analyze the company's information system needs
  • Design and develop tailored software solutions
  • Manage IT projects from conception to implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements
  • Conduct system testing and evaluations
  • Train end-users on new systems and applications
  • Ensure maintenance and optimization of existing systems

Additional Notes:

  • Full payment after the probation period
  • Full-time onsite presence will be required initially, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid work mode after the introduction period and once established in the role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in .NET development, C#, and SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology.
  • Bilingualism (asset): ability to participate in meetings in English.
  • Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, curious, and good logic.
  • Excellent team spirit and attention to documentation.
  • Experience in ERP support is an asset.
  • AS400 RPG experience is an asset.
  • Significant experience in system analysis and IT project management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Mastery of software development methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of current IT technologies and trends.
