What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect heavy equipment and diagnose to identify necessary repairs and maintenance on customer sites
- Provide a high standard of customer service when interacting with customers
- Complete all paperwork on a timely basis
- Maintain a clean work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment
- Follow all company policies and procedures, and governmental and equipment related safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of mechanical experience, preferably working with heavy equipment brands like CAT, Deere, Volvo and others
- Heavy Duty Mechanic license is an asset (310T or 421A), and/or highly experienced on the job
- Driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract
- High degree of mechanical aptitude – able to diagnose problems and identify practical fixes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience dealing with customers in the field an asset
- Possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, supervisor and colleagues
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable juggling multiple and changing priorities – works well under pressure
