What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups.
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities.
  • Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails.
  • Maintaining and improving the database of prospects and researching for new leads.
  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers.
  • Enter customer information and notes from outbound sales calls into the CRM.
  • Lead follow up from online requests and counter leads.
  • Further your sales skills by applying learned techniques relating to the different stages of the sales process (i.e., prospecting, discovery, overcoming objections, closing, etc.).
  • Participate in sales & promotional events (i.e., trade shows, open houses, golf tournament, customer appreciation, etc.) as well as manage social media posts for the Quebec area.  

 

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Experience in customer service, sales or in a similar role in the equipment rental industry or a closely related industry is preferred.
  • Strong drive for results and very customer oriented with excellent prospecting and needs analysis skills.
  • Passion for sales and customer service, and a desire to learn and develop as a sales professional.
  • Outgoing personality and ability to conduct cold calls to generate new business.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; both in-person and over the phone.
  • Very comfortable with computers - knowledge of Systematic, CRM systems & Microsoft Office is a definite asset.
  • Bilingual in English/French languages is a definite asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
  • Solid team player and self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
