SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
Person who analyzes the needs, conceives of and applies professional techniques in the field of administrative methods and systems, in order to improve service delivery.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS* Contributes to the tracking and follow-up of the deadlines for reports, budgets, completed files and actions, arising from the committees and meetings;* Support in gathering data & updates collected by various department and stakeholders; * Review quality of care indicators and current performance to identify areas of improvement and possible solutions using cost to benefit analysis;
* Follow ups on WESC funds and received requests for funds; * Ensures the circulation of information and intelligence to and from the different stakeholders;* (communities, the different CBHSSJB units, other Cree or First nation entities, etc.; * Participates in Core Working Group and supports the committee, as directed;* Collaborates and communicates with all other departments;* Provides good "customer service" to all people and departments;* Ensures the carrying out of her or his duties according to the organization's procedures and guidelines in order to provide quality services;* Carries out any other related tasks upon the request of her/his supervisor;* Drafting minutes for WESC Steering Committee and the Psychosocial Core Team;* Prepares PowerPoint presentations;* Must be available during crisis time (evening or weekend);* Follow the priority during emergency and be open to any suggestion from the manager;* Be reactive and speed up for any tasks requested during crisis period; * Be open to do any additional task requested for this position
REQUIREMENTS
Education: * Bachelor of Science degree in Administration, Human science, Social Sciences or other relevant academic discipline.
Experience: * Three (3) years of appropriate administrative experience in similar responsibilities;
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES* Having a good knowledge of Psychosocial practices and the historical impact traumas affecting the health and social aspects of the Cree in Region 18 and include demonstrating understanding of the Ministry of Health of Social Services Quebec (MSSS) norm and standards, laws regulations etc, and how it works;* Knowledge of, or ability to grasp the issues and context that relate to Cree Nations professional services programming; * Good knowledge of CBHSSJB programs and services; * Knowledge of administrative methods and techniques, budget management, data analysis, reporting and information systems;* Good professional record in administrative systems; * Strong knowledge software of Virtuo and Nomadis;* Excellent computer literacy;* Excellent leadership and teamwork skills;* Excellent communication skills, both written;* Ability in office and research-related computer applications;* Excellent critical thinking, organizational and decision-making skills;* Willing to travel;
LANGUAGE* Fluent in English; * Fluency in Cree and French is an asset
