What will your typical day look like?


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting, you will be responsible for leading Finance system projects and training initiatives to improve processes, efficiencies, and user experience.


Responsibilities

  • Lead projects within the BIM Finance Team focusing on the Core Finance areas, while working with other teams including Deloitte Global Process Office, Global Financial Services, Controllership, CBS, IT Team, Procure to Pay, Treasury, and Tax
  • Provide guidance on system or process improvements, act as a finance subject matter expert
  • Gather project requirements and create system improvement proposals
  • Develop detailed project plans and end-to-end testing scripts to monitor and track progress
  • Liaise system testing and defect resolution with local stakeholders and global support teams
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate to leadership as required
  • Drive timely deliverables and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Regularly report and present project status updates to leadership teams
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including testing documents.
  • Act as an escalation point of contact and troubleshooter in case of SAP related operational issues
  • Lead training initiatives for CBS - Finance

About the team


You will be a part of the Business Integration Management (BIM) team within our Central Business Services (CBS) team. This team is a group of highly motivated, strategic minded and dynamic individuals that support and deliver finance operation improvements across the Canadian businesses.

You are someone who is:

  • 5+ years working experience on SAP and financial accounting operation
  • Experience in leading projects related to Finance transformation or process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Prior working experience with managing international projects and teams
  • Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, including VBA)
  • Process improvement mindset that is continuously striving to evolve our ways of working to improve the end user experience
  • Results oriented and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Establish respect and rapport with team members across various departments
  • Strong knowledge of business and finance fundamentals and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
