Position Hiring: Elementary French Contract Teacher(s)

Location: DSBN Elementary Schools in Niagara Region

Rate of Pay: As per collective agreement and QECO rating

Start Date: First day of the 2025/2026 school year

To qualify:

Applicants must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (or certified by September 2025) and possess French as a Second Language Part 1 (or equivalent).

Qualified (and soon-to-be qualified) candidates should be prepared to provide examples of their own meaningful experiences working with children and/or youth (may include paid, volunteer and practicum experience). Applicants are encouraged to highlight any experiences working with diverse communities.

Next steps:

Interviews will be held in February by a panel of Administrators (in-person or virtual) using the traditional question and answer process. Successful candidates will be notified in April and placed in teaching positions in June. Geographical preferences will be taken into consideration when finalizing placement.
