The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. DPCDSB, one of Ontario’s largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Supervisor/Designate, this position is responsible for expediting Purchase Orders, and verifying invoices for accuracy on a timely basis in accordance with the Board’s Supply Chain Management Policy and Procedures. The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate databases for the following: vendor set-up, cell phones, Procurement Cards, Gas Cards, blanket purchase orders and contracts, Vendor Workers Compensation/Insurance and Fixed Assets. This position is also responsible for taking minutes at various meetings and reconciles the department budget. Maintaining confidentiality is a requirement of this position. Basic Qualifications:

The basic qualifications for this position include:

Secondary School Diploma

Two (2) years relevant experience

Proficient in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create, manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others

Excellent oral, written communication and analytical skills

Public Sector Experience/School Board Experience

Supply Chain Management Courses an asset

And

Evidence from previous work history of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
