Are YOU our next Senior Financial Analyst?
We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Brampton, Ontario. You will be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of business performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with financial systems, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
This is a temporary, full-time position for 6 months.

How YOU will make a difference:
  • Month-End Journal Entries: Prepare month-end journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Review of Month-End AR Reports: Review month-end AR reports to ensure accuracy, completeness of accounts receivable data, and support AR reconciliation process
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare financial reports e.g., analysis variance with budget for senior leadership and various divisions.
  • Business Support: Provide financial support and insights to aid in decision-making.
  • Data Extraction: Extract and compile data from various sources to support financial analysis and reporting.
  • Expense and Revenue Variance Analysis: Support monthly expense and revenue variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic planning processes.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
What YOU bring to the role:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CPA certification or enrollment in a CPA program is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial concepts and math, strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, experience with analytics tools and SQL for data analysis, data extraction techniques, month-end reporting processes, and journal entries.
  • Experience: Previous experience in financial analysis or a related field, with a focus on revenue reporting, AR reconciliation and business support. Experience with Great Plains or Oracle Fusion is preferred.
