Description
All successful candidates will be hired to the 2024/2025 Teacher Replacement Roster. Once hired, successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for internal contact opportunities or be placed directly into a contract position that is aligned with their credentials, based on the needs of the division.
Edmonton Catholic Schools requires all teachers (substitutes and contract teachers) to be Catholic unless specialized in the following areas:
Career and Technology Studies (CTS) and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF)
Lived Indigenous Experiences
Languages (Cree, French, Spanish, and Ukrainian)
Music (Elementary and Secondary)
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Must be major)
Interested candidates that have a Bachelor of Education Degree, a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate, and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Cree language and culture are encouraged to apply. The following application documents are required:

Two (2) Most Recent Teaching Evaluations (Experienced Teachers: Contract Evaluations; New Teachers: Student Teacher Practicum Evaluations)

Two (2) Professional References Letters (Dated within the last two years)
Baptism Certificate (If applicable)
