Responsibilities
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the main responsibilities of the Quality Inspector will include:
- Performing visual, functional, and dimensional inspections of fasteners and similar parts to determine compliance with drawing requirements and industry standards.
- Conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to support the PPAP process.
- Using inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, hardness testers, and optical or equivalent measurement equipment.
- Managing and maintaining computer systems to ensure batch traceability and document inspection history.
- Handling customer complaints related to part quality and application issues.
- Sorting and repairing defective materials.

Profile
We are looking for someone with the following profile for the Quality Inspector position
Skills and Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP systems
- Experience in manufacturing (an asset)
- Experience with First Article Inspections (an asset)
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management System (an asset)
- Quality assurance certification or equivalent experience (an asset)
Personal Qualities:
- Autonomy, organization and attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
