We are seeking a Technical Support Manager to join our team at our Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec facility. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering technical expertise, managing quality assurance, and driving innovation in welding solutions.

What You’ll Do

As the Technical Support Manager, you will:

• Lead QA, QC, and Laboratory Operations: Oversee quality assurance, quality control, and metallography laboratory functions.
• Provide Technical Expertise: Assist customers and the sales team with technical inquiries via phone and email.
• Recommend Optimal Solutions: Help determine the best welding processes and products for specific applications.
• Benchmark Competitive Products: Research and test competitor products to evaluate and compare performance.
• Investigate & Troubleshoot: Collaborate with the quality department to identify root causes of product or application issues.
• Support Marketing Efforts: Assist in developing product literature and technical documentation.
• Develop Welding Procedures: Provide customers with tailored welding procedures as needed.
• Train & Support Sales: Assist in training the sales team on technical products and applications.

What You’ll Bring

• Education: Degree in manufacturing, engineering, welding, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing and welding (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of welding and metallurgy (preferred).
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical mindset to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with internal teams and customers.
