Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant
St. Joseph Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 4 School
St. Joseph Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.
The assignment is to begin August 26, 2024 and end March 24, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.
Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Preference Given to Candidates with the Following Qualifications:
Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
