Handyman - Extendicare Guildwood

What you’ll be doing

  • General Maintenance around the facility including Mechanical repairs, patchwork, painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, servicing of equipment, furnishings, fixtures and outside grounds as well as general carpentry work.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or delegate.

What you bring

  • Highschool Diploma
  • AODA trained
  • Knowledgeable in WHMIS, OH & S and must have mechanical aptitude and be able to read and write the English language.
  • Experience in patchwork, painting and wallpapering preferred
  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.
  • Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
