Health Care Aide/ Care Aide responsibilities when necessary.

What you will be doing

  • Answer, transfer or take messages from telephone calls
  • Facilitate resident appointments, transportation, and communicate relevant information
  • Prepare transfer packages when residents are transferred to another facility
  • Ensure appropriate forms are available to staff
  • Label all clothing and belongings for new admissions
  • Prepare admission documents and labels
  • Assist DOC (Director of Care) in collecting statistical information and preparing reports
  • Provide clerical support and maintain all resident files and active records in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Clean 02 concentrators, and equipment
  • Review all delivered nursing supplies and put away
  • Order all resident supplies and put away
  • Assist with blood work and enter in resident charts
  • Weekly Wanderguard checks

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, while managing interruptions
  • Compassion, professionalism, and respect
  • Excellent computer skills, and ability to learn new computer programs and tasks.
