This role provides an excellent opportunity to explore the project management discipline and gain insights and experience to support the start of a career in project management.
What you’ll do:
- Within this role you will either manage Agile projects or be a Scrum Master for 1-2 teams
- Manage both business and technical initiatives with an Agile mindset
- Work with project sponsors to establish expectations for projects
- Manage project budget and forecasting
- Promote empowered and engaged teams
- Provide Agile coaching, training and mentorship to the team and business stakeholders
- Champion on-going process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management
- Remove impediments for teams
What we're looking for:
- Strong communication, collaboration and facilitation skills
- Problem-solver who embraces change
- Experience enabling teams by removing roadblocks, coordinating and facilitating team communication and process improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to build relationships
What you'll need:
- A degree in Business, Social Sciences or Computer Science, and at least 3-5 years of related experience (or equivalent). PMP, ACP, CSM certifications would be an asset
- Knowledge of project management, Agile principles and Scrum practices, organizational change and strategic planning methodologies
- An understanding of agricultural lending practices and corporate priorities would be an asset
