Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :
$134,505 - $181,979Passion for supporting agtech and agribusiness entrepreneur success required.Under the direction of the VP Business Development & Ecosystem Support, you’ll be a strategic partner to entrepreneurs in the agtech and innovative agribusiness ecosystem.
Drive value creation for entrepreneurs by leveraging your own experience and knowledge, in addition to the strength of the FCC platform. You’ll be a trusted partner to the early-stage ecosystem, focused on creating connectivity and increasing entrepreneurs’ probability of succeeding, while communicating your insights to key internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
Build relationships with entrepreneurs and key ecosystem stakeholders
Assess and activate internal FCC capabilities in support of improving outcomes for start-ups and entrepreneurs and their associated stakeholders (notably entrepreneurs and early-stage companies)
Actively participate in partner events and programming, including public speaking, office hours and mentorship
Build and manage reporting framework and deliverables with FCC senior leadership

What you’ll need:
A bachelor’s degree in business or commerce and at least seven years of related experience
Experience building and managing strategic relationships
Established knowledge and understanding of the technology and innovation ecosystem, with specific familiarity with the venture capital, accelerator, and incubator landscape in Canada and internationally
A drive to help others achieve their goals
Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation and technology in agriculture
