I'm looking for a file manager for an accounting firm in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Here are the main tasks to be carried out for a French and English-speaking clientele:
Notice of readers and bookkeeping
- Bookkeeping;
- Carry out compilation mandates;
- Produce unaudited financial statements (compilation assignment).
Review missions
- Conduct review engagements;
- Prepare financial statements;
- Settle review notes with the Control and Quality Department.
Audit
- Perform system tests;
- Perform mission sections;
- Participate in inventory taking;
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements;
- Settle audit notes with the Control and Quality Department;
- Formulate recommendations to improve clients' accounting practices;
- Provide support to junior auditors.
Tax
- Prepare personal and corporate tax reports;
- Analyze notices of assessment;
- Any other related tasks required.
- CPA designation or in process of obtaining it;
- Experience in an accounting firm;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in an accounting firm;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite;
- Good oral and written communication skills in French;
- Team spirit, organizational skills and results orientation;
- Excellent customer service, time and priority management skills;
- Professionalism, attention to detail, resourcefulness and thoroughness;
- Knowledge of CaseWare and TaxPrep software an asset;
- Auditor certification an asset;
- Bilingualism an asset.
