I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal region.

I am looking for an accountant for my client in Montreal. This is a permanent position.
Your responsibilities will be:

Accounts Payable
1. Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
2. Perform regular reconciliations of Accounts Payable balances.
3. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
4. Maintain accurate records of all Accounts Payable balances.
5. Prepare and process EFT payments.
6. Review and allocate credit card payments to correct GL accounts.

General Accounting
1. Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
2. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
4. Assist with external audits.

Financial Analysis
1. Assist in Monthly and annual financial reports.
2. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
3. Support budget and forecast activities.
4. Conduct cost analysis and efficiency evaluations.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable,
general accounting and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Netsuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Mastery of the French and English languages, both oral and written.
