My name is Romane, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an accounting technician for my client in the construction sector. This is a permanent position in Longueuil with one day of telecommuting per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform credit card and expense account bank reconciliations;
- Perform government remittances (DAS, GST-TVQ, CCQ );
- Perform data entry, by project, and full accounting cycle;
- Prepare weekly payroll;
- Process and pay expense accounts;
- Preparation of project opening files and their creation in the accounting system;
- Attach invoices received from suppliers to purchase orders and delivery notes;
- Verify prices and quantities invoiced;
- Balance supplier statements;
- Have supplier invoices approved by project managers;
- Prepare and pay supplier accounts;
- Follow-up on payment agreements with suppliers;
- File and archive accounting documents;
- Prepare and transmit various accounting reports;
- Monthly insurance renewals for various projects;
- Answer various questions from suppliers;
- Answering questions from company managers on all CAP issues;
- Preparation of work-in-progress (WIP);
- Month-end and preparation of financial statements;
- T4 & Relevé 1 preparation;
- Participate in internal finance meetings;
- Project accounting;
