I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client near Mile-End. This is a permanent position, in physical.
Your responsibilities:
-Validate, code, compile and enter supplier invoices into the system;
-Match receipt slips to invoices to be paid;
-Reconcile supplier statements and verify credits;
-Respond to various requests from internal stakeholders and suppliers;
-Respect company policy regarding payment deadlines;
-Issue cheques;
-Participate in computer system optimization;
-Make inter-company entries;
-Amortization;
- Analyze general ledger accounts;
Requirements
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in accounting and experience;
- A minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payable;
- Experience in retail (an asset);
- Intermediate Excel experience;
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to obtain information from company managers;
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Demonstrate initiative, discretion and good judgment;
- Demonstrate rigor and precision;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Proficiency in Great Plains software (an asset).
