My name is Romane, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speak your language and work in your environment. I'm looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor for my client in Boucherville in hybrid mode in the manufacturing sector.
Coordinate the Accounts Payable team's workflow and follow up with colleagues in accordance with established priorities, terms and standards.
Contribute to the establishment of KPI's for team performance management.
Act as the first point of contact for accounts payable colleagues, supporting them in resolving specific problems.
Coordinate the resolution of complex issues and follow up with suppliers and various internal departments.
Identify and implement preventive and corrective actions to ensure efficient
management of accounts payable.
Collaborate with logistics, customer service and product managers to resolve price discrepancies in supplier invoicing.
Ensure the accuracy of the supplier database in the accounting system.
Validate and ensure the processing of invoices and the issuance of payments by following the required verification and authorization process, in accordance with agreed deadlines.
Contribute to identifying, maintaining and documenting efficient work methods that promote
teamwork and sound cost management.
Provide punctual internal support by carrying out any other responsibilities entrusted to him/her, including occasional replacement of colleagues.
Contribute to day-to-day operations by accounting for invoices and other transactions.
College diploma in accounting
Minimum of 5 years of experience in processing accounts payable
Experience with complex accounts payable (e.g.: carriers - raw materials)
Experience in team coordination and workflow management
Bilingual - Ability to communicate orally and written in both French and English
Demonstrated skills in resolving problem situations in a collaborative manner
Excellent skills in time management, priorities and effective follow-up of files.
Analytical mind, attention to detail and precision
Demonstrated ability to work in a team and transmit knowledge
Good skills in using a computer system (ERP)
Good skills in using the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel functions.
Strong ability to adapt and evolve in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
