I'm Fiona, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Payables Specialist for my client, a major international distribution group. This is a 3-month temporary position.
Responsibilities:
- Collection of 45 - 60 day calls
- Customer cash payment applications (check, direct deposit and credit card)
- Processing of new customer forms, including their creation in the ERP system
- Credit references to be completed and requested for new customers
- Billing follow-up
- All other tasks related to the credit department
Profile:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in debt collection and credit analysis
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix AX accounting system (an asset)
- Understanding of the full accounting cycle
- Bilingualism (an asset)
- Comfortable with different currencies
