I'm looking for an Assistant Controller for my client in the West of Montreal, in Saint-Laurent. This is a permanent, hybrid position (2 days remote).
Your Responsabilities:
- Perform monthly analysis, reconciliation, and variance review
- Prepare consolidated balances, including reconciling intercompany balances
- Prepare the month and year end closing, including journal entries
- Participate in the yearly consolidated financial statement preparation
- Participate in annual audits and tax audits
- Review processes and implement improvements
- File monthly sales tax entries and other government requirements for Canada and USA
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA designation an asset)
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 (an asset)
- Manufacturing knowledge (an asset)
- Experience in an international company using multiple currencies (an asset)
