I'm looking for a tax specialist for an accounting firm in Saint-Constant.

- Study the laws, standards and rules related to his/her field of expertise and follow the training required to maintain and perfect his/her skills.
- Assists the Tax Manager in servicing and advising clients on company formation, incorporation, transfer, purchase or sale, financing, expansion projects and other matters.
- Reviews and prepares tax returns. Identifies potential planning
- Assists clients with business reorganizations, financing, purchase or sale of a business.
- Prepares notices of objection and leads discussions with tax authorities
- Communicates with clients on various Canadian tax issues
- Advise clients on the tax implications of operations and transactions, and indicate the steps to be taken
- Prepares documents required for invoicing services provided to customers. Ensures that all fees provided by technical and clerical staff are included.
- Reviews corporate tax returns for small and medium-sized businesses, and analyzes their impact on financial statements.
- When necessary, acts as a certified public accountant. Reviews and supervises the financial statements and tax returns of assigned clients.
- Prepares notices of objection and argues with tax authorities.

- Master's degree or DESS in taxation
- CPA designation and/or relevant experience in an accounting firm
- 3 years' experience in an accounting or tax firm
- Very good knowledge of accounting and tax software (Caseware, taxprep)
- Proficiency in Office suite software (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Fluency in spoken and written French
