My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.
Your mission will be to assist our Controller and VP Finance to perform financial tasks, bookings and reportings.
As a Financial Analyst, you are responsible for monthly reporting and accounting and are the guardian of our commercial processes, from managing the commercial agreements to the implementation into our systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Financial Analyst:
* Month end analysis, journal entries, and completion of Corporate reporting
* Complete bank reconciliations and ensure internal control guidelines respected
* Complete invoicing process for one specific products
* Preparation and analysis of periodic reports related to the evolution of business and costs of operations and provide support to the decision-making process.
* Monitor and analyse financial gaps between the forecasted and achieved objectives, and if necessary, propose a plan of action.
* Participate to the preparation and conception of forecast and budget for our US and Canadian entities.
* Other ad hoc reporting
Qualifications
* 2-3 years of experience as a financial analyst and/or management control
* Accounting Designation as an asset (CPA or equivalent)
* Bilingual French and English
* Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel)
* Positive attitude, « eager to learn », team player and is autonomous.
* Inter-departmental communication
* Priority management and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic environment
* Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) an asset
