My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Payroll Technician for a company in the distribution sector located in Saint-Hyacinthe. This is a permanent position, in hybrid mode.
Nature and scope of function:
For all Canadian employees
- Collects and sends payroll information to payroll provider
- Receive, analyze and verify payroll documents;
- Process payroll and employee file changes (creation, termination, transfer, schedule changes);
- Follow up on employee termination and reactivation files.
- Follow up on employee probation periods
- Prepare Records of Employment and complete Employment Insurance Office survey forms;
- Proactively monitor mandatory training schedules and general attendance in collaboration with the production department;
- Register employees for insurance and RRSPs and make changes when necessary.
- Send reports requested by accounting, HR and the union
- Respond to questions and requests from employees, managers and external organizations regarding payroll data for unionized personnel;
- Contribute to maintaining product security by adopting behaviors that meet defined requirements.
Education:
- DEC (Desirable)
Experience:
- Payroll: 5 years (Required)
PROCEDURE: Initial interview with Fiona Moulin, recruitment consultant, followed by a second interview with the human resources manager.
