I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for a Senior Accountant for my client, a manufacturing company. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe.

The Senior Accountant (St-Hyacinthe) will play a strategic role in the management of the complete accounting cycle, supporting managers through varied responsibilities crucial to the production of financial information.

Main responsibilities :

-Perform comparative analyses for various accounts in the general ledger.
-Ensure the integrity of capital projects, inventories and databases.
-Analyze variances, actual budgets
-Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
-Manage the company's monthly and annual tax returns.
Invoicing and follow-up of customer files.
-Perform bank reconciliations and deposits.
-Participate in annual audits.
-Implement and supervise internal controls.
-Supervise administrative support staff.
-Manage payroll process (less than 100 employees).

QUALIFICATIONS
The person selected for the position of Senior Accountant (St-Hyacinthe) must be bilingual. Other qualifications include

-BAC in accounting or equivalent experience; (CPA an asset).
-4 to 8 years experience.
-Excellent command of the Office suite.
-Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision.
-Experience in the manufacturing sector.
-Bilingualism, the person will have to interact with the financial controller in Chicago.
-Autonomous, resourceful, with strong organizational skills.
-Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and make proactive decisions.
-Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of precision.
