My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. I'm looking for a Senior Accounting Technician for an IT company. This is a permanent position in Brossard in hybrid mode.
Main responsibilities:
- Complete the full accounting cycle
- Perform routine data entry and transactions in accounting software
- perform bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date accounting records
- Prepare month-end and year-end entries
- Produce statutory reports (GST/QST/DAS)
- Prepare invoices and manage accounts receivable/payable
- Participate in the preparation of financial statements and budget analysis
- Collaborate with external auditors for annual audit
- Prepare payroll and manage group insurance and group RRSP enrollments

Profile sought
-DEC in accounting (or equivalent);
-Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in bookkeeping;
-Mastery of the complete accounting cycle;
-Knowledge of payroll, social legislation and taxes;
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Odoo software (an asset);
-Very good knowledge of spoken and written French; functional English;
-Excellent customer service, time and priority management skills;
-Professionalism, attention to detail, resourcefulness, ability to concentrate, patience and thoroughness.
