I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in custom vehicle manufacturing, located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, for an Electrical Engineer - Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a hybrid work-from-home option.
Reporting to the Technical Projects Manager, you will play a key role in designing and integrating electrical and electronic systems for specialized vehicles. You will also contribute to product development and innovation.
Here's an overview of your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement methods to ensure the quality of electrical designs.
- Design electrical systems tailored for specialized vehicles.
- Develop and produce electrical harnesses.
- Oversee the key stages of projects, from concept to prototype testing.
Document procedures and draft technical manuals for end-users.
- Collaborate with the production team and provide technical support when needed.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and components to drive continuous innovation.
Your Skills

- Technical leadership and solid communication abilities.
Your Profile
- University degree in Electrical Engineering (completed Bachelor's degree).
2 to 5 years of experience in electrical design in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Knowledge of electrical CAD tools and MRP systems.
- Functional English and intermediate French.
- Experience in motorized vehicle systems is an asset.
