Your position

I am currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for one of my clients, a manufacturing company located in Varennes.

Permanent position 40h/week - face-to-face - day shift

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

- Be responsible for the optimal operation of equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance in line with production.
- Develop and improve procedures to ensure the smooth running of the department
- Organize the work of your team (service calls, work methods, schedules)
- Lead continuous improvement projects in the field
- Manage inventory, parts and building maintenance
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors
- Keep the CMMS system up to date (SAP) and monitor KPIs.

Your profile
-Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
-DEC or BAC in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance or any other relevant field
-French and very good level of English
-Proficiency in CMMS software, SAP an asset
-Proficiency in Office suite (Excel).

- Salary: $75k - $90k depending on experience
- 40/hr week - face-to-face - day shift. Full insurance and company RRSP.

- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate with them regularly in English, both orally and in writing.
- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
