Your Role
I am currently recruiting for a manufacturing company located in Pincourt seeking a Process Optimization Specialist. This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will focus on analyzing, improving, and stabilizing production process parameters in a high-performing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, adjust, and stabilize equipment parameters to optimize production performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Implement advanced process control systems to monitor equipment performance and make real-time adjustments.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify process inefficiencies, reduce waste, and minimize variability.
- Conduct performance tests on equipment and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for process improvements.
- Design and update standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across processes.
- Provide technical support to production teams for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing production costs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, manufacturing, or a related field).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- In-depth knowledge of production equipment, raw materials (polymers, films, adhesives), and their interaction in manufacturing processes.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on the production floor and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
