I am looking for a Technical Writer - Automation for my client, a designer and special machines located in the EAST of Montreal. This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week.
Your professional skills :
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks
- Assessing documentation requirements, in
- Working with the engineering, project management and customer support departments to produce user, maintenance and parts manuals.
- Updating documentation
- Continuously improving documentation processes and tools
- Assisting other departments in editing and correcting documents.
- Other related tasks
Profile :
- Creativity, organisation and application
- Adaptability and communication skills
- Writing and editing skills
I'm looking for someone with strong writing and editing skills, demonstrating a command of English grammar and style. They are also able to work independently and as part of a team.
Your profile:
- Post-secondary certificate in technical communication, English, language teaching or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of page layout software such as Adobe InDesign or graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Salary: $75k - $85k depending on experience
- Full insurance, RRSP, minimum 3-week paid leave.
- Flexible working hours, with a 40-hour week ending at 1pm on Fridays, all year round.
