I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in water treatment solutions, seeking a Water Treatment Engineer based in the Greater Montreal area.
Your Role
Reporting to the general management, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and drafting the technical aspects of proposals for municipal and industrial clients.
* Providing technical support to the business development team.
* Designing and managing files for obtaining environmental permits.
* Participating in the development and refinement of the company's technical solutions.
* Actively contributing to research and development projects.
* Occasionally supervising installation work on-site.
* Reviewing technical plans and drawings when required.
* Participating in strategic meetings within the company.
* Maintaining a constant technological and regulatory watch.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers while ensuring excellent follow-ups to guarantee satisfaction.
*********The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons:
- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil, or Environmental).
* OIQ member
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in modeling tools or software related to water treatment (an asset).
* Bilingualism (French and English).
Salary
$90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
