I'm currently working with one of my clients specializing in transportation in North America. Located in the east end of Montreal, this company is looking for a logistics & customer service coordinator.

Responsibilities :

-Work with the forklift team to plan and coordinate the loading and unloading of materials;
-Monitor inbound and outbound shipping requests to and from the terminal via the customer portal;
-Document shipping/receiving data and errors;
- Maintain inventory;
-Resolve problems related to shipping delays or other issues;
-Prevent potential problems, which could include telephone or e-mail interactions with customers;
-Develop and maintain a positive customer relationship by providing regular follow-up on customer service calls;
-Adhere to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance;
-Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives;
-Perform other related work as required;

Requirements :

-DEP in a field related to transportation & logistics;
-Minimum 1 year experience in the transportation & logistics industry in a customer service role;
-Actively bilingual (French/English), required to deal with our unilingual English-speaking clientele;
-Highly motivated and results-oriented, required;
-Strong attention to detail, required;
-Excellent proactive communication and interpersonal skills, required;
-Intermediate to advanced experience with Office Suite (Excel), required;
-Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, required;
-Ability to work in an industrial environment;


PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
