We are looking for a Master Planner to join our client based in Boucherville in sales department, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities :

- Be responsible for the S&OP process;
- Follow-up with sales managers to obtain a sales forecast, and with the marketing team to obtain a sales forecast for promotional products or existing promotional products;
- Maintain the sales forecast database for all product sales activities (launches, discounts, trends).

Production planning :
- Maintain a production plan based on a combination of sales forecasts and firm orders;
- Ensure inventory availability;
- Keep ERP system up to date;
- Smooth out production and communicate stock shortages.

Production scheduling :
- Produce and maintain a production schedule, taking into account various constraints;
- Issue and make available work orders within prescribed deadlines;
- Continuously monitor deviations that may occur during production;
- Communicate schedule changes to the various parties involved;
- Plan and schedule test ton requests;

Skills required:

- Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent.
- 3-5 years in a similar position
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset)
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the supply chain and logistics
- Knowledge and mastery of problem-solving techniques
- Knowledge and mastery of inventory management principles
- Knowledge and mastery of MRP/ERP-style integrated management systems
