We are supporting one of our customers in the manufacturing sector, located in the Laurentians, in their search for a material & inventory analyst.

Responsibilities :

-Participate in the definition and implementation of the inventory function within the organization.
-In conjunction with production sites, define, implement and monitor supply strategies for production areas (e.g. KANBAN, VMI, CHARIOT, BACKFLUSH, etc.).
-Ensure the integration of various information systems related to inventory (INFOR, MES, FACTORY TRACK, etc.).
-Define inventory counting strategy for all Lion warehouses at Mirabel sites.
-Coordinate and operationalize cyclical & annual inventory counts.
-Train, support and ensure adherence of operational teams to our inventory strategy.
-Produce analyses related to inventory activities (e.g. rotation, level).
-Ensure inventory turnover, list and dispose of obsolete inventory.
-Establish, optimize and monitor inventory levels.
-Update sector performance indicators.
-Take charge of stock disposal activities. (Inactive, out-of-date, non-conforming, etc.)
-Any other task related to inventory management.

Qualifications:

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment

-3-5 years' experience in inventory management
-DEC or other relevant diploma
-Knowledge of ERP & MS OFFICE (INFOR suite and POWER BI is an asset),
-APICS certification is an asset
-Bilingualism (spoken and written)

-Communication with international customers
-Collaboration with English-speaking partners
-Drafting documents in English
