We are looking to fill the position of Procurement Analyst for a project-based customer.

You will report to the Senior Logistics Operations Manager.

Do you have a keen sense of supply management and want to have a direct impact on supply chain performance? We're looking for a Procurement Strategy Manager to drive our inventory operations and optimize our stock management!

Your tasks:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies in conjunction with our suppliers to guarantee material availability while optimizing costs and stock levels.

Coordinate the implementation of engineering changes with the logistics team to ensure smooth and seamless integration of the supply chain.

Manage the ERP system database, ensuring accurate parameterization for efficient and responsive inventory management.

Analyze supply and inventory problems and propose solutions to improve process efficiency.
Carry out analyses of obsolete materials, surpluses and inactive stocks, and present strategic recommendations to management.

Work in synergy with planners, buyers and field teams to ensure optimal management of supply flows through our ERP.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing inventory management processes and developing strong relationships with suppliers.

Bachelor's degree in administration, with a major in operations and production management (OPM) or industrial engineering, or equivalent training will be considered.
Minimum of three (3) years equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
APICS certification (Asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel;
Bilingualism essential (spoken and written French and English), as the incumbent will be required to interact daily with international colleagues, customers and partners who do not speak French;
Knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics AX) an asset.
