Responsibilities
Your Mission
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the flow of products and resources, ensuring that inventory levels remain ideal to meet the company's needs. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including logistics teams, production departments, and suppliers, to guarantee a seamless supply chain from planning through final distribution.
* Regularly analyze data to identify market trends and recommend adjustments that optimize inventory volume and turnover.
* Develop and update accurate inventory and production plans to align supply with customer demand.
* Work closely with suppliers, engaging in ongoing negotiations to secure advantageous pricing and delivery times.
* Monitor and adjust stock levels, ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right locations.
* Ensure the reliability and accuracy of planning tools, keeping production data current at all times.
* Maintain smooth communication with production teams, tracking order progress and handling any schedule changes.
* Meet production deadlines and delivery windows, taking prompt corrective action when discrepancies arise.
* Strengthen relationships with partners and suppliers, fostering a lasting collaboration built on mutual trust.
* Consistently share information with clients and suppliers regarding any changes that may impact production or delivery.
* Provide analytical support to the Supply Chain Manager by supplying relevant data and reports for specific projects or studies.
* Communicate forecasts on product and component availability so that each department can anticipate and adjust priorities.
Position Requirements
* University degree or equivalent in a field related to supply chain management, business, or a similar area.
* At least three years of proven experience in planning and coordinating logistics.
* Excellent analytical skills and strong ability to resolve complex problems.
* Outstanding organizational skills and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to a variety of audiences.
* Proficiency with IT tools, particularly inventory tracking and planning software (an asset).
* Bilingualism (French and English) is essential to meet client and partner needs.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced expertise in Excel.
