I'm assisting one of our customers in the food distribution industry, located in the west end of Montreal, in their search for a warehouse attendant.
Main responsibilities :
-Welcome visitors (organizations, suppliers, volunteers, etc.) with professionalism and courtesy.
-Ensure cleanliness of all warehouse areas
-Fill out sector-specific documents
-Ensure compliance with health and safety standards;
-Ensure that handling equipment and tools required for the job are functional and available.
-Supervise the work of volunteers as required
-Ensure good customer service
Education/experience/certification :
-High school diploma
-Minimum 1 year relevant experience
-Valid forklift operator's card (asset)
Skills and Abilities:
-Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment
-Autonomous
-Sense of initiative
-Customer service and interpersonal skills
-Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge :
-Knowledge of the food industry (an asset)
-Bilingualism (English/French) (an asset)
-Ability to use technological tools (telephone, inventory management system, Outlook).
PROCESS: Initial interview with Gabriel Lemoine, Fed Supply Recruitment Consultant - followed by an interview with the company's Human Resources Manager and Position Manager.
