Description
As Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the city of Montreal, you will act as a subject matter expert for the company's software solution, and will be responsible for facilitating sales demonstrations, business partner training and detailed virtual training programs for new and existing customers. The successful candidate will have software expertise from an end-user perspective, and will be able to use this information to encourage customers to exploit the Fleet Complete solution to its full potential. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for communicating the software's advanced features and selling their benefits, with the aim of improving customer uptake of the applications and ensuring the long-term success of the organization. The RSM will report to the Director of Sales - North America.
Main responsibilities:
Sales and market expansion
- Develop and implement a territory sales strategy in line with the company's growth objectives.
- Adopt a proactive attitude (“hunter” type) - proven experience in identifying new opportunities and closing deals.
- Measured success and proven track record in B2B sales.
- Experience in B2B sales to medium and large companies.
- Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-market customers, while identifying new expansion opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including contract negotiations and discussions.
Distributor partner development
- Train and support TELUS business partners and distributors to maximize product adoption and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of Fleet Complete solutions within partner networks.
- Provide ongoing sales support, giving partners the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Customer engagement and satisfaction
- Act as a strategic advisor to our distributor representatives and end customers, ensuring optimal use of Fleet Complete solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide customized recommendations and support sustainable account growth.
- Work with Customer Success teams to strengthen loyalty and optimize the use of our solutions.
Data-driven sales optimization
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Use CRM tools and analytics to track performance, measure results and improve efficiency.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase conversion rates and revenue impact.
Requested skills
Skills and experience required
- At least three years' B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, IoT or telematics.
- Must reside : Montreal.
- Demonstrated success in territory management and consultative solution selling.
- Experience in channel sales and carrier partnerships preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technology solutions to a variety of audiences.
- Proven experience in negotiating, closing deals and forecasting sales.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- University degree in business, sales, marketing or related discipline an asset.
Preferred skills
- Experience in wireless technology, GPS or fleet management.
- Good knowledge of enterprise software sales and account-based sales strategies.
- Analytical approach and experience in sales analysis and performance optimization.
- Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented approach.
